Dr. Richa Bhatt is a caring and experienced general dentist who believes that a healthy smile begins with a healthy foundation. She graduated with High Honors from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. During her time there, she was nominated to join the Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honor Society, an exclusive recognition awarded to the top students in dental school for their academic excellence and integrity.
Before starting Better Foundations Dental, Dr. Bhatt spent several years at the Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates Group, where she collaborated with a team of specialists on comprehensive cases that deepened her understanding of the connection between oral health and overall wellness. Most recently, she managed two successful practices in Medford and Arlington as part of a larger dental group. Her desire to keep patients first and provide care that aligns with her treatment philosophy led her to take the exciting step of ownership—transforming the beloved Biondo and Foley Dental Group into Better Foundations Dental.
Dr. Bhatt is known for her gentle touch, compassionate care, and commitment to patient education. She has been recognized as one of Boston’s Top Dentists for her dedication to excellence. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys biking, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her family and two young children.
